Hachiko Waits

For this blog, I want you to choose a character you’d like to have as a friend and tell WHY.

Follow these rules for writing paragraphs.  Your paragraph should have...

1.  a topic sentence that introduces the paragraph,

2.  at least 3 supporting detail sentences, and

3.  a closing sentence that wraps up the paragraph.

 

This assignment will be printed off and graded.

I would be Hachi's friend. I bet Hachi would be as loyal to me as he was to his master. I would sometimes bring him food while he waits for his master. Before his master disappeared we did everything together. We would have races,play in the water, and do so much more. I was crushed when he died but happy because he will see his master. I will never forget him.

I am Hachiko,s twin brother John. Hachico and I both go down together to the train station to wait for Professer Uneo our master. We both love yacitori. We eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I had a best friend it would be Hatchi. What makes me laugh is when he twirls around and around. He never gave up on his master because he is so loyal. But the best thing about him is he so friendly and kind. I think Hatchi is going to be a great friend.

I'm sure all of the characters in the story would have made fantastic friends but I would choose to be Hachiko's friend. I choose to be Hachi's friend because Hachi is a trusting,gentle,and loyal dog. He never gives up and probably would never part with you after seeing how he waited day after day for Professer Uno to exit the train. If Hachi lived longer and you treated Hachi with the same respect as Yaso did one day Hachi would probably help you in a situation when you need help or encourgement. Even if you know the truth it always feels good to help a friend espescially when on the inside you feel like in a blink of an eye the world will come to life and finally everything will be back to normal. Hachi needs a friend. Hachi is a great dog and would make great friend!
